this week i got a little work to design greetings cards. the above are a couple of designs fitting the kind of girly style they were after. it's all pretty exciting being paid to draw!

this illustration is all about public places, in particular public transport. recently i've been cycling to town rather than traveling by bus. i've been enjoying traveling alone, without the intrusion of unknown people.

today i had a shoe day. an interview at clarks shoe shop and i got a pretty bad blister from my new shoes.
so today i made a business card.

i'm really loving the colours i've been experimenting with lately.

i drew this after being inspired by a musician who goes under the name of 'infinite body.' i've been browsing his illustration/photography website a lot recently.

what makes you feel alive? after completing my first exhibition installation, i am now free to create work without a profound purpose - it feels really weird. so, this is the first...i guess the concept is pretty obvious but i'm happy with the outcome.

i made this whilst listening to a lovely little album by adam michalak. he's pretty unheard of but i feel better for mentioning him here.

this morning i have finished the second illustration of my new mini project based on miss-fitting couples that i see around and about.

this is a pic i did tonight. i was really inspired after seeing some work by sophia martineck and lilli carre. the image is based on the idea that people struggle to be heard within today's society.
go somewhere...this illustration incorporates both my illustration and lomography photography.

these are just a few of many photos that i've had developed recently. i found a few rolls of expired film lying about in my room taken on my diana mini. i've began using some in my illustrations and the results have been pretty nice.
this lady is hidden within the wall. she also has very fancy shoes.

bearded men...sometimes i think about places such as texas. i like to think it withholds many old timers that still enjoy to ride on their motorbikes. i like to imagine that they go to dingy bars that dismiss the smoking ban and there they drink, place bets and play intense card games until the early hours of the morning. anyway, that was the inspiration for the above illustration.
