BIG BEARD

i photoshopped this after drawing it in my sketchbook. for some reason the apprentice was on the television. i've enjoyed drawing to moving image this week. i kept adding and adding to his beard until i ran out of space.

this illustration was designed for a birthday card. the person's birthday is on monday and despite being only 26 his hairline is receding quite a lot...the inside message follows on from the front and states, 'shame it's all on your face!'

i hope i'm not hated for the design.

this is a piece from my sketchbook drawn whilst watching irreversible by gaspar noe. i've been trying to decide how my drawing was influenced by the film but i quite like this ambiguity.
